Acted as a liason between patients and providers, as well as between patients and sales staff, translating and helping to communicate patient needs in each unique situation. Insurance verification was also a big part of my job here. Due to some inexplicable reason that I suspect may have had more to do with old dogs and new tricks than alleged limitations in the online system (never I felt confident I would be able to overcome if anyone could please try to remember the login password we had to call, on the telephone, the various insurers to confirm vision coverage and eligibility for every patient, every time.
